Arkwright Insurance Brokers, has been shortlisted as finalists for the “Young Broker of the Year” award at the UK Broking Awards 2013. Arkwright Insurance Brokers has already received recent commendations for their achievements in broking, having won BIBA’s Young Broker of the Year award in 2012, and again in 2013 for the Greater Manchester and West Pennine region.

The prestigious UK Broking Awards are open to all FCA reigistered UK general insurance intermediaries and appointed representatives. The candidates will be judged by an independent panel of judges and the ceremony itself will attract over 500 prominent industry figures, to commend and celebrate the achievements of top insurance brokers. The Young Broker of the Year award is open to all candidates under the age of 30.

The award is designed to honour a candidate that has made significant strides in their broking career and has demonstrated clear commitment and contributions to their professional career and the wider industry as a whole. The UK Broking Awards will take place on the 6th September 2013 at The Brewery on London’s Chiswell Street. The ceremony will consist of a drinks reception, a speech from Industry Age editor Emmanuel Kenning, lunch, a celebrity host and an afterparty, in addition to the presentation of the awards themselves.

Mr Mogra (Director at Arkwright Insurance Brokers) said:

“It is a great joy to be once again nominated for an award to celebrate our professional achievements. These awards really help to validate our position in the market and enhance our reputation as an exceptionally accomplished insurance brokers.” “we hope to continue to receive commendations and continue to demonstrate our commitment to broking.”

The awards are organised by The Insurance Age, a prominent industry magazine and community. The winner of last year’s Young Broker of the Year, Caroline Webster reported that the award was a huge boon, both for Ms Webster and for her firm, Higos Insurance.
